{"id":15266,"date":"2012-06-28T13:50:17","date_gmt":"2012-06-28T17:50:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=15266"},"modified":"2012-06-28T12:34:01","modified_gmt":"2012-06-28T16:34:01","slug":"drunk-driver-who-kills-son-mom-pays-for-wreck-cleanup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=15266","title":{"rendered":"Drunk Driver Who Kills Son, Mom Pays For Wreck Cleanup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Loretta Robinson<\/strong>, whose son was killed by a drunk driver, had to pay to clean her son\u2019s blood from the road, as well as other fees associated with the wreck.<strong> Robinson\u2019s<\/strong> son was not at fault.<\/p>\n<p>The driver, <strong>Anna Gonzalez<\/strong>, pleaded guilty in court on Tuesday and faces 17 years in prison. During the court hearing, <strong>Robinson<\/strong> showed the judge the bills she has had to pay as a result of <strong>Gonzalez\u2019s<\/strong> actions. <strong>Gonzalez<\/strong> was an illegal immigrant who has been living in the U. S. for 12 years and never owned a South Carolina driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n<p>Even though <strong>Robinson\u2019s<\/strong> son, <strong>Justin Walker<\/strong>, was not at fault, she had to pay for the wrecked car to be stored for months, in case there was a trial.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI had to pay to have the vehicle towed,\u201d she said. \u201cI had to pay for the vehicle to be removed and to clean up the street from Justin\u2019s blood on the ground.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Robinson<\/strong> said that was the bill that stung the most \u2013 paying $50 to have the street cleaned.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFirst of all, having to open the mail and look at the charge to the deceased, <strong>Justin Darryl Walker<\/strong> \u2014 the deceased!
