{"id":14621,"date":"2012-05-17T14:54:47","date_gmt":"2012-05-17T18:54:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=14621"},"modified":"2012-05-17T14:10:42","modified_gmt":"2012-05-17T18:10:42","slug":"torii-hunters-son-arrested-for-sexual-assault","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=14621","title":{"rendered":"Torii Hunter\u2019s Son Arrested For Sexual Assault"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ANAHEIM, CA \u2014 <strong>Torii Hunter<\/strong> was placed on the Los Angeles Angels\u2019 restricted list Monday after his teenage son was arrested in Texas.<\/p>\n<p>The town of Prosper, Texas, issued a news release announcing 17-year-old <strong>Darius McClinton-Hunter<\/strong> of neighboring McKinney, Texas, was arrested Monday in a sexual assault case.<\/p>\n<p>The Prosper police made five arrests after a month long investigation of sexual assault of a child, a second-degree felony.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Darius Hunter<\/strong> is one of <strong>Torii Hunter\u2019s<\/strong> three sons who played on the Prosper High football team last season.<\/p>\n<p>All three sons, including <strong>Torii Jr<\/strong>. and <strong>Monshadrik \u201cMoney\u201d Hunter<\/strong>, are considered Division I football prospects, with<strong> Torii Jr.<\/strong> considering Stanford and<strong> Darius Hunter<\/strong> interested in playing at Oregon, according to his father.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Darius Hunter<\/strong>, a receiver last season, reportedly attracted interest and scholarship offers from Texas Tech, SMU and West Virginia, among others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ANAHEIM, CA \u2014 Torii Hunter was placed on the Los Angeles Angels\u2019 restricted list Monday after his teenage son was arrested in Texas.
