{"id":14508,"date":"2012-05-14T15:31:03","date_gmt":"2012-05-14T19:31:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=14508"},"modified":"2012-05-14T15:31:03","modified_gmt":"2012-05-14T19:31:03","slug":"owens-changes-story-says-hes-not-broke","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=14508","title":{"rendered":"Owens Changes Story, Says He\u2019s Not Broke"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During his recent appearance on <em>Dr. Phil<\/em>, receiver <strong>Terrell Owens<\/strong> said that he has squandered most of the $80 million he has earned while playing pro football.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Owens<\/strong> now says he didn\u2019t squander $80 million.<\/p>\n<p>Appearing on 790 The Zone in Atlanta, Owens said that he isn\u2019t broke, and that the suggestion that he lost $80 million was \u201cskewed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not broke,\u201d <strong>Owens<\/strong> said.\u00a0 \u201cMy broke, for the normal person, is not their broke.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy circumstances have changed,\u201d <strong>Owens<\/strong> said.\u00a0 \u201cThat means I don\u2019t make the same amount of money that I used to make.\u00a0 With my financial situation, people are asking how did I blow $60 million or $80 million?\u00a0 Those numbers are skewed.\u00a0 If you just kind of factor in the numbers of what I made and how many years I\u2019ve played.\u00a0 Other than that, I don\u2019t know what else to say&#8230;.
