{"id":13700,"date":"2012-04-02T16:37:14","date_gmt":"2012-04-02T20:37:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=13700"},"modified":"2012-04-02T16:37:14","modified_gmt":"2012-04-02T20:37:14","slug":"spike-lee-settles-with-couple-for-retweeting-wrong-address","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=13700","title":{"rendered":"Spike Lee Settles With Couple For Retweeting Wrong Address"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SANFORD, Fla.\u00a0 &#8212; An elderly couple who reported being forced to leave their Florida home when a Twitter posting that <strong>Spike Lee<\/strong> helped spread listed their address as that of the man who shot an unarmed teen has settled with the director.<\/p>\n<p>The couple&#8217;s attorney, <strong>Matt Morgan<\/strong>, announced the settlement Thursday. <strong>Morgan<\/strong> says <strong>Lee<\/strong> called them to apologize fo retweeting their address.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elaine<\/strong> and <strong>David McClain<\/strong> are in their 70s and say they have a son named <strong>William George Zimmerman<\/strong>, who lived in their Sanford area home in the mid-1990s.
