{"id":13651,"date":"2012-03-29T16:04:47","date_gmt":"2012-03-29T20:04:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=13651"},"modified":"2012-03-29T16:04:47","modified_gmt":"2012-03-29T20:04:47","slug":"security-guards-arrested-for-impersonating-cops","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=13651","title":{"rendered":"Security Guards Arrested For Impersonating Cops"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Curtis Scott<\/strong>, 25, and <strong>Gary Jackson<\/strong>, 26, were charged with impersonating\u00a0 police officers on the night that 18-year-old<strong> Ervin Jefferson<\/strong> was killed outside of his home in Dekalb County, GA.<\/p>\n<p>The private security guards allegedly detained women at the scene of the shooting by telling them that they were officers. According to reports they were fired upon from <strong>Ervin\u2019s<\/strong> residence by his step-father, <strong>Bobby Hubbard Jr.<\/strong>, 35, was also arrested and charged with \u201creckless conduct and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.\u201d<br \/>\n<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ervin<\/strong> was shot by <strong>Scott<\/strong> \u2014 who called 911 at approximately 10:29 p.m. to say that he was being fired upon \u2014 as he approached the car containing the women who, he believed, were coming to fight his younger sister.
