COLE<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"BodyA\" style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><b>By MONIQUE STAMPS<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"BodyA\" style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><b>Sentinel Staff Writer<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"BodyA\">\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"BodyA\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <b>Doris Cole<\/b>, a retired grandmother has loved relating her life to her favorite book\/movie, <i>The Wizard of Oz. <\/i><i><\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"BodyA\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The story of a young woman swept away by a tornado and her later adventures seemed to reflect life, and not just in Kansas.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"BodyA\">\u00a0\u00a0 The heroine and her friends\u2019 journey on the yellow brick road were a case of overcoming hardships and roadblocks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"BodyA\">\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<b>Cole\u2019s<\/b> new book, <i>Dorothy: Then, Now, And Next<\/i>, explores the life changes that mark Dorothy\u2019s world and relates it to her own walk with the Lord.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"BodyA\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cDorothy started her life one way, but a storm changed her whole world. You never knew where life will lead you,\u201d says <b>Cole<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"BodyA\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The book is a remix,\u00a0 taking the traditional story of Dorothy and Toto and relating the lessons they learned to our own lives and journeys with God.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"BodyA\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cDorothy\u2019s life was full of disruptions as she becomes aware that people, seasons, places, and things change. The one thing that doesn\u2019t change is Jesus. He is the same today, tomorrow, and forever,\u201d relates <b>Cole<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"BodyA\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <b>Cole<\/b> refers to herself as a Dorothy. Like Dorothy, <b>Cole\u2019s<\/b> circle of life has illustrated the internal struggles. As she went full circle in her own life, <b>Cole <\/b>believes that for herself, the full circle has led her to where God wants her to be.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"BodyA\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 She<b> <\/b>relied on her faith when authoring her book.
