\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Pinellas Park Police Department arrested a St. Petersburg Police Officer and charged him with aggravated assault. The arrest took place last Friday.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 According to police, Officer<\/strong> John Antoine<\/strong> was taken into custody at 8 p. m., on August 30th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 On August 28th, Officer Antoine<\/strong> was involved in a verbal argument with his
\ndomestic partner and the mother of his children, outside her home in Pinellas
\nPark.\u00a0 He made threatening comments to her, while in full uniform and armed.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 She reported the incident to her employer and the Pinellas Park Police
\nDepartment took over as the primary investigative agency since it occurred in
\ntheir jurisdiction.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Officer Antoine<\/strong> was arrested on one count of aggravated assault.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Officer Antoine<\/strong> was placed on unpaid administrative leave.\u00a0 \u00a0His weapon(s) were seized.<\/p>\n
