The report notes that her death was an accident.<\/p>\n<p>The Los Angeles County coroner\u2018s office has determined that <strong>Whitney Houston\u2019s<\/strong> official cause of death is: \u201cdrowning and effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Various prescription drugs were found in her room at the time of her death. But the toxicology report states that \u201cMarijuana, Alprazolam (Xanax), Cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) and Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) were identified, but did not contribute to the death.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Right now, there is debate over why the <strong>Houston\u2019s<\/strong> death was ruled accidental and not a drug overdose.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Whitney Houston death is a result of accidental drowning.
