Sources told The Athletic the deal included a player option for the second year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The superstar guard forced his way out of the Philadelphia 76ers before the start of the 2023-24 season and was traded to Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He played in 72 games with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/sports\/nba\/los-angeles-clippers\">the Clippers<\/a>, averaging 16.6 points, 8.5 assists and 5.1 rebounds per game. The Clippers were 51-31 on the year and finished fourth in the Western Conference.
