\nher time as the sole executor of the payroll for Bay Area Orthopedic\u00a0 Specialist.\u00a0 Carter <\/strong>had been employed with the company for several
\nyears, but it was discovered that in October 2022, she began paying herself
\nthousands more per pay period.
\nThroughout this scheme, Carter<\/strong> paid herself $138,800.\u00a0 Additionally,
\napproximately $70,000 of cash deposits were unaccounted for during the same period.\u00a0 These funds were utilized for Carter’s<\/strong> personal gain, living a
\nlavish lifestyle.<\/p>\n
