President Biden\u2019s\u00a0<\/a>Hollywood fundraiser raked in $30 million over the past weekend for his reelection bid, the most of any Democratic fundraiser in history, according to the Biden campaign.<\/p>\n

Biden was joined at the fundraiser Saturday by former President Obama, actors George Clooney and Julia Roberts, and comedian Jimmy Kimmel.<\/p>\n

The president in his remarks warned against a second term for former President Trump and focused on the Supreme Court and his recent trip to Italy for the Group of Seven (G7) summit.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe next president is likely to have two new Supreme Court nominees,\u201d Biden said,\u00a0repeating a prediction<\/a>\u00a0he has made before.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe idea that if he\u2019s reelected he\u2019s going to appoint two more flying flags upside down,\u201d he added, referring to Justice\u00a0Samuel Alito,<\/a>\u00a0who has\u00a0faced controversy<\/a>\u00a0over an upside-down American flag flying over his Alexandra, Va., home.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
