Blue Ivy to star in Disney’s ‘Mufasa”<\/h4>\n

Beyonc\u00e9<\/a>\u00a0and her daughter\u00a0Blue Ivy Carter<\/a>\u00a0are teaming up as the 12-year-old has landed her very first role Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King. Both Bey and Blue Ivy will appear in the film that is a prequel to Lion King.<\/p>\n

Blue Ivy will play Princess Kiara in the film, while the Cowboy Carter artist will reprise her role as Queen Nala from the 2019 movie.<\/p>\n

Critics didn’t love\u00a0Disney’s remake<\/a>\u00a0of the beloved cartoon, however, the film still raked in $1.663B at\u00a0the box office<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Rotten Tomatoes summed up the reception: “The Lion King is a by-the-numbers retelling that lacks the energy and heart that made the original so beloved-though for some fans that may just be enough.”<\/p>\n
