\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A 47-year-old man described as a 20-time convicted felon, has been arrested and linked to the death of a 27-year-old man.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 According to detectives of the Hillsborough County Sheriff\u2019s Office, on November 5, 2023, Querran Talley,<\/strong> 27, was found deceased in a mobile home park in Thonotosassa (corner of East Fowler and Walker Rd.). Upon searching Talley, <\/strong>detectives found what appeared to be crack cocaine in his socks.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Following their investigation, the detectives of the HCSO\u2019s Opioid Overdose Investigation Unit discovered that Anthony Mansfield<\/strong>supplied the drugs that led to Talley\u2019s<\/strong> overdose.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 On November 16, 2023, detectives arrested Mansfield<\/strong> for trafficking in fentanyl (28 grams or more), possession of cocaine with intent to sell or deliver, delivery of a controlled substance, VOP cocaine \u2013 sale, manufacturing, delivery, possession.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mansfield<\/strong> has been in the Falkenburg Road Jail without bond while the death investigation was ongoing.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 On February 26, 2024, the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner\u2019s Office ruled the death of Talley<\/strong> to be caused by the combined effects of cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine and oxycodone.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 On April 18, 2024, the facts were presented to a Grand Jury and Mansfield\u2019s <\/strong>charges have been updated to include Murder in the First Degree.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
