\u00a0\u00a0 Raven Williams<\/b>, owner of 4 Letters Salon in Tampa Park Plaza didn\u2019t imagine herself in the nail business. The 4 Letters Salon offers an oasis for manicures, pedicures, and nail art, including 3D nail art.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Williams<\/b> graduated from Brandon High School and received her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and a graduate degree from Florida Atlantic University. She transitioned into Student Affairs and education as a career in south Florida.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 After returning to the Tampa area, Williams<\/b> worked for a few years at a job she didn\u2019t love, causing her to look outside of the box for a new career.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Williams<\/b> has always had a creative side, something she shares with her mother and other female members of the family. While working at the job she didn\u2019t care for, she still painted in the evenings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 When her own nail tech told her she could explore her creative side by doing nails, Williams<\/b> had reservations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cAfter spending all of that time and money to get two degrees, I was very hesitant. I wondered what my classmates and friends would say. But I was so unhappy, I had to do something. So, I decided to do nails,\u201d said Williams<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 After starting her nail career in 2017, Williams<\/b> found a devoted client base that has been growing since.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In January 2023, Williams<\/b> made the step of opening her own salon. 4 Letters Salon is centrally located in Tampa Park Plaza.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cIt has been amazing to have my own salon. Having it in Tampa Park Plaza makes it even better. Everyone is incredibly supportive, and I love that this location is a place where Black businesses are thriving,\u201d enthused Williams<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
