{"id":13006,"date":"2012-02-23T15:40:33","date_gmt":"2012-02-23T20:40:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=13006"},"modified":"2012-02-23T15:17:16","modified_gmt":"2012-02-23T20:17:16","slug":"chris-tucker-now-owes-over-12-million-in-taxes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=13006","title":{"rendered":"Chris Tucker Now Owes Over $12 Million In Taxes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Comedian <strong>Chris Tucker<\/strong> doesn\u2019t have a lot to laugh about these days considering Uncle Sam and the Peach state are after him.<\/p>\n<p>Georgia is now getting in on the act for a 2007 tax lien and has reportedly added yet another $592.594.82 to the actor\u2019s already whopping IRS debt of $11,571,909.26.<\/p>\n<p>Tucker owes the feds taxes for 2001, 2002, 2004 and 2006 and even got rid of two Florida homes to help lessen the debt.\u00a0\u00a0Last October, <strong>Tucker<\/strong> unloaded one of his Florida homes for $1,050,000 even though the asking price on it was $1.5 million.\u00a0 Before the bank planned to foreclose on his 8,861 square foot Lake County, Florida home back in November of last year, <strong>Tucker<\/strong> had a short sale on it and sold the mansion for a reported $2 million even though he still owed $4.4 million on it.<\/p>\n<p>Back in 2001, the funnyman reportedly took in a $20 million payday for<em> \u201cRush Hour 2?<\/em> and scored $25 million for <em>\u201cRush Hour 3?<\/em> which hit theaters in 2007.\u00a0 Now there is talk that <strong>Tucker<\/strong> might resurrect his role in <strong>Ice Cube\u2019s<\/strong> <em>\u201cFriday\u201d<\/em> movie franchise which could also help chip away at his compounding tax debt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Comedian Chris Tucker doesn\u2019t have a lot to laugh about these days considering Uncle Sam and the Peach state are after him.
