{"id":12875,"date":"2012-02-16T15:13:08","date_gmt":"2012-02-16T20:13:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=12875"},"modified":"2012-02-16T15:13:25","modified_gmt":"2012-02-16T20:13:25","slug":"bucs-name-jimmy-raye-senior-offensive-assistant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=12875","title":{"rendered":"Bucs Name Jimmy Raye Senior Offensive Assistant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have announced they have hired <strong>Jimmy Raye<\/strong> as Senior Offensive Assistant.<\/p>\n<p>With more than 30 years of experience in the NFL, <strong>Coach Raye<\/strong> has attained a wealth of knowledge that will be an invaluable resource to t he coaches and players of the Buccaneers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Raye\u2019s<\/strong> coaching career has spanned 40 seasons, including 34 in the NFL, two of them was as offensive coordinator with the Bucs from 1985-1986. <strong>Raeye<\/strong> has served as offensive coordinator for the St. Louis Rams, New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, Washington Redskins, Oakland Raiders, and San Francisco 49ers. He was also a senior offensive assistant with the New York Jets. During his first stint with the Rams, <strong>Raye<\/strong> orchestrated a rushing attack that resulted in <strong>Eric Dickerson\u2019s<\/strong> NFL record 2,105 rushing yards in 1984.<\/p>\n<p>In 2009, 49ers running back <strong>Frank Gore<\/strong> had one of his best seasons, rushing for 1,120 yards and 10 touchdowns on 229 carries while adding three touchdowns and 406 yards on 52 receptions in just 14 games.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have announced they have hired Jimmy Raye as Senior Offensive Assistant.
