{"id":12677,"date":"2012-02-06T16:41:48","date_gmt":"2012-02-06T21:41:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=12677"},"modified":"2012-02-06T16:41:48","modified_gmt":"2012-02-06T21:41:48","slug":"louisiana-tech-running-back-found-dead","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=12677","title":{"rendered":"Louisiana Tech Running Back  Found Dead"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>RUSTON, La. &#8212; Louisiana Tech running back, <strong>Tyronne Duplessis<\/strong> was found dead at his off-campus apartment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hazel Woods<\/strong>, the chief investigator for the Lincoln Parish coroner&#8217;s office, says the cause of death is not yet known and an autopsy is pending.<\/p>\n<p>The 21-year-old <strong>Duplessis<\/strong>, whose body was found Thursday morning, recently completed his sophomore season of eligibility.<\/p>\n<p>Louisiana Tech spokesman <strong>Patrick Walsh<\/strong> says coach <strong>Sonny Dykes<\/strong> informed the team. The university has also made grief counselors available to the team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duplessis<\/strong>, who is from New Orleans, played in two games last season as he sought to come back from a knee injury that sidelined him in 2010.
