L. King Day Parade, a series of fights and disturbances broke out in East Tampa. Although <strong>Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.<\/strong>, was an advocate for non-violence, 11 teenagers were arrested for fighting. Crowds watching the fights swelled to nearly 200 people at times.<\/p>\n<p>According to police, the fights began around 3:30 p.m., Monday in and around the Belmont Heights Estates. The crowds simply kept moving from one block to the next.<br \/>\n\u201cAs soon as the police were out of sight, fighting erupted again,\u201d a spokesperson for the Tampa Police Department said.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the youngsters were charged with an \u201caffray.\u201d An affray is a criminal offense generally defined as the fighting of two or more persons in a public place that disturbs others; a type of disorderly conduct.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_12389\" style=\"width: 160px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Joshua-R-Cobb.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12389\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-12389\" src=\"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Joshua-R-Cobb-150x150.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-12389\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Joshua R. Cobb<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The eleven teenagers arrested were: <strong>Emanuel Watson (pictured above)<\/strong>, 19, and 18-year-old <strong>Joshua R. Cobb<\/strong> were charged with an affray.<\/p>\n<p>Police arrested, <strong>Anissia C. Davis<\/strong>, <strong>Tequila L. Owens<\/strong>, and<strong> Samuel L. Culver<\/strong>, all 17-year-olds. Davis was charged with an affray. Owens and Culver were charged with disorderly conduct.<\/p>\n<p>Three 16-year-olds were also arrested: Julisa Duncan was charged with resisting arrest without violence and trespassing after warning. <strong>Cameshia King<\/strong> and <strong>Deshawn Singfield<\/strong> were charged with an affray.<\/p>\n<p>Police also arrested three 15-year-old teenagers. <strong>Micheal Singleton<\/strong> was charged with trespassing after warning; <strong>Dontavious Throw<\/strong> was charged with an affray; and<strong> Kevondre R. Thomas<\/strong> was charged with resisting arrest without violence and violation of probation for the unlawful possession of a firearm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Monday, after the M.
