The men were beaten to death in September 1998.<\/p>\n<p>U. S. District <strong>Judge Elizabeth Kovachevich<\/strong> sentenced <strong>James Robertson<\/strong>, 32, to life in federal prison. He was found guilty of two counts of murder in aid of racketeering by a jury on October 18th.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Robertson\u2019s<\/strong> three co-defendants, <strong>Kenneth Hoover<\/strong>, <strong>Charles Marovskis<\/strong>, and<strong> Cory Hulse<\/strong>, all entered guilty pleas and are awaiting sentencing.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_12036\" style=\"width: 160px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/Alfred-Williams.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12036\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-12036\" src=\"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/Alfred-Williams-150x150.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-12036\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Alfred Williams<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The two attacks took place during the early morning hours of September 13, 1998, in different locations.<\/p>\n<p>According to testimony during the trial,<strong> Robertson<\/strong> was a member of a Skinheads hate group known as \u201cTampa Blood And Honour.\u201d The organization believe that white people of Aryan descent are the superior race. It also considered homeless people, regardless of race, to be inferior.<\/p>\n<p>Police said that during the early morning hours of September 13, 1998, <strong>Robertson<\/strong>, and his co-defendants, <strong>Hoover<\/strong>, 38; <strong>Marovskis<\/strong>, 32; and <strong>Hulse<\/strong>, 38, participated in what they referred to as \u201cbum rolling,\u201d an act of targeting and committing acts of violence against homeless people.<\/p>\n<p>The men encountered <strong>Alfred Williams<\/strong>, 61, in downtown Tampa, under the Crosstown Expressway. The defendants attacked <strong>Williams<\/strong> and beat him to death with several objects including a tire iron.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_12037\" style=\"width: 160px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/Richard-Arseneau.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12037\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-12037\" src=\"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/Richard-Arseneau-150x150.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-12037\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Richard Arseneau<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Later in the evening, the group encountered <strong>Richard Arseneau<\/strong>, 44, in a vacant lot near Interstate 275 and E. Fletcher Avenue. <strong>Arseneau<\/strong> was attacked and beaten with a hatchet. Both men died of blunt force trauma to the head.<\/p>\n<p>Court documents said another homeless man was also attacked at Interstate 275 at Bird Street, near the Hillsborough River. He was beaten over the head with what is believed to be a cinder block.
