S. District <strong>Judge James Whittemore<\/strong> sentenced <strong>Robert Pertee<\/strong>, 39, to 16 years in federal prison for possession of cocaine with intent to sell or deliver, and for being a felon in possession of a firearm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pertee<\/strong>, a former youth football coach for the East Tampa Bandits, was previously convicted in federal court for possession of cocaine with the intent to sell or deliver.<\/p>\n<p>On February 3, 2011,<strong> Pertee<\/strong> arranged to purchase two kilograms of cocaine for distribution, and after the cocaine was delivered, a search warrant was executed.<\/p>\n<p>Officers recovered the two kilograms of cocaine and small amounts of crack cocaine, powder cocaine, marijuana, and drug distribution paraphernalia, including a scale and cooking pot containing cocaine residue.<\/p>\n<p>Officers also recovered a.40 caliber handgun, loaded with eight rounds. A digital video recorder connected to <strong>Pertee\u2019s<\/strong> surveillance system was recovered, along with footage of the delivery of the cocaine and the frequent traffic to and from his house at 2607 East 27th Avenue.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>U.
