{"id":11451,"date":"2011-11-17T15:48:57","date_gmt":"2011-11-17T20:48:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=11451"},"modified":"2011-11-17T14:02:55","modified_gmt":"2011-11-17T19:02:55","slug":"lawsuit-labelle-threw-water-at-tot-in-nyc-lobby","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=11451","title":{"rendered":"Lawsuit: LaBelle Threw  Water At Tot In NYC Lobby"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NEW YORK \u2014 R&amp;B diva <strong>Patti LaBelle<\/strong> hurled curses \u2014 and half a bottle of water \u2014 at a woman and her 18-month-old daughter after a dust-up over parenting in an apartment building lobby, according to a lawsuit filed Monday and the family\u2019s lawyer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LaBelle\u2019s<\/strong> publicists and lawyer didn\u2019t immediately respond.<\/p>\n<p>The couple live in a Manhattan building where the Grammy Award-winning singer stayed for a time while appearing in the Broadway musical \u201c<em>Fela!<\/em>\u201d last fall.<\/p>\n<p>He said <strong>LaBelle<\/strong> chastised <strong>Roseanna Monk<\/strong> for letting the toddler take some steps away from the mother as she grappled with some luggage and a car seat in the building\u2019s lobby.
