Also arrested was <strong>Camby\u2019s<\/strong> cousin, <strong>Kendal Johnson<\/strong>, who was in the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Brazoria County District<strong> Attorney Jeri Yenne<\/strong> said Thursday that <strong>Camby\u2019s<\/strong> charge was dropped this week after <strong>Johnson<\/strong> said the marijuana was his.<strong> Johnson<\/strong>, who lives in Connecticut, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to a misdemeanor possession charge and was fined $1,500.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Camby\u2019s<\/strong> attorney, <strong>Randall Novak<\/strong>, said his client committed no crime. <strong>Camby<\/strong>, who has a home in Pearland, played last season with the Portland Trail Blazers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HOUSTON \u2014 Prosecutors have dropped a marijuana possession charge against NBA veteran Marcus Camby after his arrest during a traffic stop in suburban Houston.
